Information about the Radiated Tortoise: The Radiated Tortoise belongs to the genus of the Astrochelys. They are fairly large, with a carapace that can grows up to 16 inches and weigh 35 pounds. They are considered to be among the most beautiful tortoises in the world. This reptile has a very limited range, restricted mostly to southern parts of Madagascar, along with some nearby islands.
